2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah USA & Europe Teams Signed Welcome Dinner Menu
Fantastically on this example of the gate folded 2012 Ryder Cup Welcome menu are the black sharpie signatures of each player on both the US and victorious European sides, along with that of Tiger Woods. These were handed out to just attendees of the traditional bipartisan dinner preceding what would play out as one of the most famous Ryder Cups in history. The 2012 Ryder Cup biennial international matches were quickly dubbed the 'Miracle in Medinah' after the near impossible happened. A short drive out of Chicago, IL, the European team needed exactly 8 1/2 points to win the Ryder Cup on the final day Sunday. Remarkably they won 8 matches and halved the final. The United States had entered as one of the most skilled tams in the competition's modern day and left on the wrong side of history. In addition to the aforementioned Tiger Woods are signatures from each of the US players and captains from that week. These include: Woods, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Jason Dufner, Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Steve Strickerm, Bubba Watson and Captain David Love III. The European Squad: Captain Jose Maria Olazabal,Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Francesco Molinari, Paul Lawrie, Luke Donald, Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer, Nicolas Colsaerts, and Peter Hanson.
