1968 The Masters Final Putt to Win Arthur Weaver Print with Remarque Signed by Artist
The world renowned landscape artist's depictions of Augusta National greens are some of the most presentable pieces in the hobby. Presented here is his work from the 1968 Masters titled "Bob Goalby Makes the Final Putt To Win". Weaver's details are spot on, even showing the white and red numbered pin flags used at ANGC and the Masters in the 1960's and the period caddy suits. Weaver painted many golfing scenes throughout his life both in Britain and in the USA. Originals hang at notorious places such as St. Andrews and the USGA museum, this is one of his successfully reproduced Limited Edition prints. The 1968 Masters saw Bob Goalby claim his career-defining victory over Roberto Di Vicenzo. It is framed tastefully, measuring 25 1/2" x 21"
