Circa 1906-12 'How To Play Golf' By Harry Vardon

Published by George W. Jacobs & Co. of Philadelphia is this Harry Vardon (believed to be the American First Edition) circa 1906-1912 hardcover classic. Vardon, along with John Henry Taylor and James Braid, were considered the fabled Great Triumvirate that dominated the golf world from the mid 1890s through 1910. Vardon was a seven time Major winner, winning the US Open in 1900 and an incredible six Open Championships. Offered here is a copy for his instructional book "How to Play Golf." There are 48 golf illustrations and 187 pages. This particular book came from a descendant of the “Old” Willie Dunn family.
