Gene Sarazen's Personal Augusta National Golf Club Masters Badges Correspondence w/ Signed Envelope
Filled out and signed by Gene Sarazen on the return envelope is the correspondance to Gene Sarazen from Augusta National for his final Masters Tournament tickets in 1999 where he was both an Honorary Starter and Masters Club (Champions Dinner) attendee. From ANGC to Sarazen, it reads as follows: "Dear Mr. Sarazen - It was very nice to see you last November at the Sarazen World Open. Kristie and I had a wonderful time and appreciated Gene Martin's and your hospitality. Thank you for returning your credentials application to me. We are glad to know you will be returning to the Masters Tournament again this year. - I am glad to inform you that we will be able to provide Clubhouse Badges again for the Panozes. The cost of these badges has increased this year to $200.00 each for a total of $800.00 for four (4) Clubhouse Badges. You may send this check now in the envelope enclosed, or pay at registration, if you prefer." Included in this lot is that letter to Gene Sarazen along with the envelope used and a filled out return envelope that was presumably not sent. A signed letter of provenance from Mary Ann Sarazen will come with this lot.

3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of auction close will close at 10pm ET
