1990 US Junior Amateur at Lake Merced G&CC Official Program - Tiger Woods First USGA Event
It wouldn't just be Tiger Woods' first US Junior Amateur tournament, but his first USGA event as a contestant. All of fourteen-years-old, 'Eldrick' would make it to the semifinals of the Lake Merced G&CC event after winning two matches and gaining a significant amount of experience in his home state of California. Woods would go on to win 6 USGA championships in a row prior to gaining his professional status. This program is a tough one, from a tournament with limited attendance generally composed of participant friends and family.
The Golf Auction is proud to present our 2024 March Golf Memorabilia Auction. This is a nine (9) day Auction, so please utilize the categories column to help you navigate towards your preferred collectibles. Bids must be placed before 10pm ET, Sunday, March 3rd in order to participate in extended bidding.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET Sunday March 3rd in order to bid on the item(s) during extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may only bid on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of auction close will close at 10pm ET
