'Who Rules the Game?' This popular pinball Sports Illustrated cover features Jack Nicklaus as the 'wizard' with his top competitors of 1968 in Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, and Gary Player in the game - each playing for golf supremacy. All four have signed this magazine in close proximity to their likeness on the fold out cover, with Jack's on the second side in thick silver marker on the black of the machine. Arnold Palmer, the charismatic "King of Golf," won seven majors, revolutionizing the game's popularity. Gary Player, the "Black Knight," secured nine majors and advocated for fitness in golf. Billy Casper, with three majors, displayed remarkable consistency and shot-making prowess. Together, they shaped golf's history and inspired generations of players. Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper and Gary Player signed the Sports Illustrated in this lot.
