Presented here is a wonderful Limited Edition set of Ben Hogan Personal irons 2-9 and "Equalizer," or pitching wedge, made to commemorate the exact set he used during his famous 1953 record setting season. Also as a bonus, an unused set of Hogan '1953' Oil Hardened K82042 Woods also accompany this set. This set is #0549 on the certification and verso of the Ben Hogan medallion. The irons and woods are unused. These have been protected in the pictured cardboard box and comes complete with original paperwork, grips, apex shafts, certificate of authenticity and matching numbered medallion featuring the raised image of Hogan himself. This is a beautiful and historically significant set. Highly desirable on many levels. Ben won each major he played in 1953 - Masters, U.S. Open and British Open.
