Early Gleneagles Hotel Queen's Needle E'E 2nd Hole 146yds Par 3 Hole Sign - Vintage
This is a fantastic vintage #2 hole sign from the famous Gleneagles Hotel Queen’s course in Scotland. The par 3 hole is affectionately known as the Needle E’e consisting of 146 yards. The course was designed by James Braid and opened for play in 1917. Currently ranked #50 in Top 100 European courses. Hosted the Women’s British Open in 1957, Henry Cotton’s Red Cross Exhibition in 1939-40 and the 2014 Ryder Cup was played at the newest course at Gleneagles designed by Jack Nicklaus. Many of great events were staged at this venue and many Open Champions played here on a consistent basis. 14" x 32"
