1910 The Country Club Cup Championship Tiffany & Co. Semi-Finalist Medal Won by H.W. Hucklen
In May 1910, The Country Club in Brookline would hold the Country Club Cup Competition for that Spring. This medal was awarded to H. W. Stucklen of the Brae Burn Country Club for his Semi- Final win over A. G. Lockwood of Allston. Stucklen would be defeated in the next match by eventual Cup winner F. W. Whittemore. This 1 ¼ “ medal was finely crafted by Tiffany & Co and is so stamped by them on the rim of the medal. It also bears the Tiffany’s artist’s name (under the two acorns on the medal) It comes in its’ original Tiffany box. The face of the medal features The Country Club Squirrel with “The Country Club “boldly stamped below him. A yellow and green ribbon with pin on back accompanies the medal. The back of the medal is engraved “The Country Club Cup, 1910, Semi-finalist, H. W. Stucklen” A scarce early The Country Club medal issued in the same year the club would host the USGA Amateur Championship
