"Briton to be reckoned with in National Open Newton Center, Mass....American golfers may have the Indian sign on most of their British brethren, but there is one exception and he may give the American stars trouble in the National Open which opens on June 12 at St. Louis. He is Bobby Locke, of South Africa who has won four out of six tournaments in tow months of U.S. Golf, hanging up the remarkable score of 41 under par for his last 25 tournament rounds. Locke won the South African Open every time he played it, both as an amateur and professional. His last "killing" here was the Goodall Round Robin at Newton Center, where he is shown in action." 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"
