Major winners from left to right in this photo admiring the Open Championship's ultimate prize in this 1923 photo are: Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Ralph Hutchison and Jim Barnes on either side of the notated businessman John McEntee Bowman in the center. The crystal clear original shot was taken prior to the the statesmen's travels to Royal Troon Golf Club en route for British Open. Walter Hagen was the returning champion, bringing the trophy with him. This candid photo taken at the Westchester Biltmore remains in fair to good condition, with some chipping as shown in the accompanying lot images. 8" x 6"
