Pebble Beach Golf Links, Del Monte, California, September 2-7, 1929 Bobby Jones tied for the medal with a 145 score, one over par for the 6,661-yard links. Jones rounds were 70-75. Jones was defeated by Johnny Goodman in the first round, one up, in an 18-hole match.
