Bobby Clampett's decorated amateur golf career was still in its infancy in 1977, this recognition being one of the first major achievements for the then 17-year old breaking onto the world golfing stage - 1977 Junior World Golf Championships Northern California PGA Section winner. The Pebble Beach area native would attend BYU a year later, bringing home his first of three-straight All-American honors and priming for back-to-back Haskins Awards. This framed certificate from the Northern California PGA Section is dated July 18, 1977 and designates the champion 'Robert Clampett' in marker script on gold-tone paper. A letter from Bobby Clampett will also accompany this lot.8" x 10"
