Ben Hogan's Personal Childhood/Family Photograph

Here we have Ben Hogan's personal photograph of his family which was acquired by Hogan’s personal secretary (Sharon Rae) after Ben’s passing. This photograph depicts Ben as a 2 year old, his brother Royal at 5, and sister Princess at 7. His mother and possibly father are also shown. Ben Hogan is generally considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of golf.

Originally part of THE BOB COFFIN COLLECTION SOURCED FROM BEN HOGAN'S PERSONAL SECRETARY SHARON RAE

Mrs. Rae following Ben's passing in 1997 became a vital part of Mrs. Hogan's life and accompanied her to both Ben Hogan's tribute at the 1999 Memorial Tournament and to the dedication of the United States Golf Association's Ben Hogan room that same year. Her prominence in the lives of the Hogan's was evident when she was remembered in both Ben's will with a cash bequest and a much larger bequest in Valerie's will. As a studious collector of Hogan material Bob Coffin stayed in contact with the Rae family, and following Sharon's passing Bob Coffin obtained this piece from Sharon’s son, Andy Rae. 8" x 10"

1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET

Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
