Mark O'Meara Signed 1998 The OPEN at Royal Birkdale Flag - Framed

Mark O'Meara captured the 1998 Open Championship and Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale in a playoff over Brian Watts after the pair were tied through 72 holes. Presented here is the yellow flag from the 1998 Open that week, in which O'Meara signed in his legible penmanship. 1998 was a career year for O'Meara as he won the Open after winning the Masters Tournament months prior. The then newest Champion Golfer of the Year's name was applied in robust black Sharpie. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot resulting in maximum aesthetic appeal in a supporting black frame and underlying thought-out nameplate. 23 1/2" x 19 1/2"

Each lot has its own 30 minute countdown clock during extended bidding. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
