USGA Committee Press Badge Issued to Dan Pohl

Dan Pohl was a Professional golfer, course architect, and even the longest driver of the ball on the 1980 PGA Tour. Pohl fared well in major tournaments, which saw 7 top 10 finishes including a runner-up in the 1982 Masters Tournament. He also placed third at both the 1981 PGA Championship and 1982 US Open. He was a member of the 1987 Ryder Cup Team, won the Vardon Trophy in 1987, and is a member of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.
These badges or medals as some people call them, are issued by the USGA to their VIPS. These badges are highly collectible because they are commonly used for years.
