Lee Elder Signed 8x10 B&W Photo in Cart in Front of Masters Scoreboard
An iconic moment for the Masters Tournament and Augusta National took place when the first African-American Masters contestant teed off in 1975. Recognizing that moment, Lee Elder is set to be a starter for the 2021 Masters Tournament alongside Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. Carefully applying his black sharpie signature on this photo captured during that tournament in which he was taking a cart ride, passing the Masters Tournament scoreboard. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
For the current 2021 April Auction, please remember to read the rules page, and all initial bids must be placed by 9pm ET Sunday, April 11th. The auction ending rules will change beginning with the next auction. Thank you for your support. - The Golf Auction
