Electricity wasn’t cheap in 1932. Here is a wonderful Jerome Travers hand written and signed check from 11/2/1932 in the amount of $13.82 for electric and gas. Travers was one of the greatest golfers in the world in the early 20th century having won several major championships including 4 U.S. Amateur’s and 1 U.S. Open. This framed ensemble is complete with a photograph and engraved plate. James Spence Authenticated has reviewed this signature and a JSA ALOA will accompany this lot. Some wear to frame. 15" x 19"
