Jack, Arnie & Others Signed 1971 The Ryder Cup at Old Warson CC Victory Dinner Menu
This is as close as you can come to attending the 1971 Ryder Cup honorary victory dinner at Old Warson Country Club in St Louis. Sitting along the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and perhaps here a quip from Lee Trevino. The celebratory dinner was in honor of the victorious American team concluding a tournament that saw the U.S. defend home soil and win by a score of 18 1/2 to 13 1/2 points. In addition to time-period blue ballpoint pen signatures on the cover from Nicklaus, Palmer and Trevino are those from teammates Billy Casper, Lee Trevino, Charles Coody, Frank Beard and dignitary attendee Henry Lau. Inside the menu, it lists honorary members of the dinner on both the British and US Teams. Castle Potatoes and Salad Marco Polo along with many other choices were listed as options on the menu that night, all great options. The menu is in great condition and includes the original red, white and blue tassel, with very few signs of age. It measures approximately 10 1/2" x 16."
