Jack Nicklaus & Tony Jacklin Signed The Concession Flag & Photo
This lot features two items of golf memorabilia celebrating the 1969 Ryder Cup moment known as The Concession. The first item is a yellow nylon golf pin flag from The Concession Golf Club, manufactured by Prestige Flag. The flag displays a central embroidered logo in navy blue thread depicting silhouettes of Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin shaking hands. It is hand-signed in black felt-tip marker by Jack Nicklaus on the left and Tony Jacklin on the right. Jacklin added the inscription The Concession below his signature. The second item is a color photograph depicting Nicklaus and Jacklin in formal suits. This photograph is hand-signed by Tony Jacklin in black felt-tip marker at the top center, also including the inscription The Concession.
