Jack Nicklaus Twice Signed Pair of Cherry Hills GC Actual Lockers Used in 1960 US Open
Design-matched with two photos inside the 1960 US Open at Cherry Hills lockerroom of Claude Harmon using an oxygen inhalator to combat the high-altitude is this pair of lockers that were purportedly used by the amateur and runner-up Jack Nicklaus during the historic battle with Arnold Palmer and then signed after the fact. Each signature is massive and found in the back of the locker in black marker as depicted in the lot photos. Nicklaus was said to have used these two lockers next to each other, with renovations coming after the tournament and currently containing wooden lockers. These grey, metal, sizeable 18" wide x 24" deep x 72" tall lockers are together 36" wide x 24" deep x 72" tall.
