Jack Nicklaus won his third and final Open championship at the 1978 contest held at St. Andrews and carefully inked this Thursday Order of Play in blue sharpie. The win by only two strokes marked the fifteenth of his eighteen Major championships. The victory also completed his third career grand slam. Offered here is The Golden Bear's timeless signature on the cover of a pink 1978 The Open at St. Andrews Thursday Order of Play Booklet. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
