Jack Nicklaus Signed 1972 Masters Tournament Spectator Guide
The Golden Bear carefully applied his timeless black sharpie signature to the front cover of this 1972 Masters Tournament Spectator Guide. Jack Nicklaus claimed his fourth Masters title wire to wire, shooting a 286 including a first round 68. One of the great innovations to come out of the Masters Tournament is the Spectator Guide which the Augusta National began providing their patrons in the late 1940's. Contained in the Spec. Guide you will find the thoughts of Bobby Jones on the event which was his brainchild, along with a detailed history of the Masters happenings and results. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
