Jack Nicklaus Signed 1966 Masters Sunday Final Round Ticket #5295

It had never been done before at The Masters Tournament, a back-to-back (or Jack-to-Jack) champion emerged. This rare paper ducat gaining admittance into the final round Sunday has since been signed by Jack Nicklaus in bold, black sharpie across the top. This ticket is also back-to-back, in that another exemplar of the champion's penmanship graces the top of the verso - guaranteeing high presentation value from either side. A chance to relive the Golden Bear's 1966 Masters victory is presented to you in this lot, with the signed Sunday ticket with its original string #5295. Nicklaus earned his third green jacket and became the first back-to-back Masters winner in an 18-hole playoff over Tommy Jacobs and Gay Brewer. It remains in good condition, while the badge is slightly warped, exhibiting a single punched hole from usage and there are spots of discoloration as seen in the lot photos. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
