Jack Nicklaus Signed 1965 Masters Sunday Final Rd Ticket #784

On the front of the purple Final Round Sunday 1965 Masters paper ticket is the ballpoint pen signature champion Jack Nicklaus. While Jack would end with a record six green jackets, this would only be his second - two in three years with great promise going forward. The 1965 Masters staged Jack Nicklaus outdueling the remainder of the 'Big 3' Gary Player and Arnold Palmer - by a sizeable nine strokes to win it. Here we have for bidders the difficult paper ticket from the final day of 1965 Masters tournament signed by the Golden Bear in the writing implement that would have been available that week. The signature remains strong overall on the badge, please use accompanying high definition lot photos as a detailed condition report on this difficult ticket with overall wear from the year Jack became a multi-Masters Tournament champion. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
