Jack Nicklaus Signed 1963 Masters Tournament Friday Pairing Sheet

The historic 1963 Masters saw 23-year-old Jack Nicklaus win his first green jacket, defeating Tony Lema by one stroke for a 268 total of 2-under par. The Ohio native sunk a clutch 3 foot putt on the final hole to secure the victory and receive the green jacket at the hands of rival Arnold Palmer. Nicklaus would become a regular to wear the special jacket, slipping it over his broad shoulders five more times. Champion Jack Nicklaus signed this 1963 Friday Masters Pairing Sheet showing its age in black sharpie. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
