Jack Nicklaus Ltd Ed US Open 50th Ann. Champion Curtis Australia Sterling Silver Ballpoint Pen in Box
Made in Australia by the Curtis Company/Nicklaus Co. is this #222/1000 sterling silver ballpoint 'executive' pen in its original box celebrating the Golden Bear's 50th anniversary of winning the 1962 US Open. There is a small golfer post-swing depicted from the waist up and golden bear logo in relief. Wrapping around the pen on that same hallmarked sterling silver band is 'Jack Nicklaus Limited Edition' and 'Jack Nicklaus US Open Champion 1962, 67, 72, 80 222/1000.' This pen remains housed in its original casing from a release number that very well could not have been finished (1000). Included in this 2012 offering is the original certificate of authenticity with the handwritten 222 limited edition hand-signed by the founder of Curtis Australia.
