Jack Burke Jr. Signed Photograph and Nine Vintage MacGregor Golf Balls Group Lot
A group lot consisting of an autographed photograph of professional golfer Jack Burke Jr. and nine vintage golf balls. The black-and-white 8x10 inch photographic print depicts Jack Burke Jr. during a golf swing with a clubhouse in the background. The photograph is signed in the lower-left quadrant in blue ink with the cursive signature Jack Burke. The reverse of the photo features repeating Fujifilm and Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper watermarks and includes a partial blue ink transfer smudge. The lot includes nine vintage MacGregor golf balls. Three balls are loose, and six are contained within two original three-ball cardboard sleeves wrapped in cellophane. The golf balls feature a red star logo and are marked Jack Burke 1 or MacGregor 2 with a club symbol. Each ball is stamped with Vulcanized on the side. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
