JH Taylor Signed 1934 Handwritten Letter From J. H. Taylor To 16-Year Old Bobby Locke from Scrapbook
From one Champion Golfer of the Year to another and 9 Clarets combined! This ballpoint pen handwritten, personal two-sided February 24, 1934 note is heightened with a flowing signature from the pen of JH Taylor at its conclusion. A member of The Great Triumvirate, the original "Big 3," with Harry Vardon and James Braid, Taylor would win his incredible 5th and final Open Championship title over the defending champion Ted Ray by 8 strokes. The letter is made out to Bobby Locke at the age of 16, originating from Locke's estate scrapbook years ago from an overseas golf auction. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
