Horton Smith's 1939 Walter Hagen 25th Anniversary Midlothian CC Invitational 10k Medal
Up for auction here is the inaugural Masters Tournament Champion and first two-time winner (1934 and 1936) Horton Smith's 1940 Walter Hagen 25th Anniversary Midlothian CC Invitational 10k medal. The reverse of this exquisite Walter Hagen 25th Anniv. Midlothian CC Invitational 1939 medal carries the '10k' precious metal mark in the standard location of the bottom. The World War II veteran was long-time head golf professional at the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan, as well as Oak Park in Illinois. Horton Smith was also a popular choice for the American Ryder Cup team, representing his country in five straight tournaments starting in 1929. As seen in the photographs, Smith's medal presents extremely well and the Walter Hagen Invitational spared no expense during the production of the medal.

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
