Hale Irwin's Personal 1995 Ameritech Sr. Open at Stonebridge Dolan Bullock Swiss Made 17 Jewels Pocket Watch
Crafted by Dollan Bullock and comprised of 17 jewel mechanical movement to commemorate Hale Irwin's first Champions Tour win at the 1995 Ameritech Senior Open held at Stonebridge a month and change after the rookie's 50th birthday. Eight strokes was the winner's margin after Irwin sandwiched a round of 63 with a first and third (final) rounds of 66 for 22-under par in just 54 holes! To no-one's surprise, that was a tournament record; a record by five strokes. The Swiss-made pocket watch features a 12-hour dial from luxury watch designer Dolan Bullock. It was produced to keep time with minute markers and roman numeral hour markers on the white dial with class. 'Ameritech Senior Open' is engraved on the outer casing above a decorative shield, with 'Hale Irwin - 1995' inside. Watch does not currently work. A signed letter of provenance from Hale Irwin comes with this lot.
