Sourced directly from major champion and four-time Ryder Cup participant Hal Sutton is his 1983 Goldwin Cup Japan-USA Golf Match at Taikeiyo Club Silver Medal only months after his PGA Championship triumph. Composed of .999 silver, this precious medal prize carries the international 1983 Goldwin Cup Japan-USA Golf Match logo in shallow relief on the frontside, with the significant engraving of "1983 Nov 10,11,12,13 - Taiheiyo Club - Rokko Course - Japan." The medal is presented on the end of a rather extravagant two-tone purple and white ribbon. A signed letter of provenance from Hal Sutton comes with this lot.
