Greg Norman's Personal A Trio of Vintage Golf Putter Heads Including Cleveland and Bullseye Models
This lot features a trio of vintage golf putter heads from the 20th century. The collection includes one blade-style putter head and two variations of the iconic Bullseye design.
The first item is a Cleveland Classic blade-style putter head marked with DESIGNED BY, Classic in red script, and Cleveland in black script.
The second item is an Acushnet Bullseye flange putter head. The top of the head is marked with the Acushnet script. The sole plate contains several markings including ML - X - M - 5 - S, DESIGNED BY JOHN REUTER JR.
The third item is a traditional John Reuter Jr. Bullseye blade putter head made of solid brass or bronze. The sole is stamped with a circular mark containing BULLSEYE around a central figure, along with PAT. PENDING, JOHN REUTER JR., and STD. # 6 S.
All three heads are presented without full shafts or grips, retaining truncated segments of steel shafts within the hosels. These came straight from Greg Morman’s house to The Golf Auction and a TGA letter of authenticity will accompany this lot.
