George Dunlap Jr. Large Format 'USGA Amateur Champion 1933' George Pietzcker Photo - Framed
The camera eye in which captured this image was George Pietzcker, a remarkable photographer from St. Louis, who covered the golf seen from the early 1910's till mid 1930's. During this time period, he was the official photographer for the United States Golf Association creating a visual record of the country's national championships and champions. That is just what he did capturing 1933 US Amateur Champion George Dunlap Jr. smiling a genuine smile from ear to ear while holding his recently received Havemeyer Trophy. This incredible large format close shot photograph carries the Pietzcker trademark in the bottom right corner and white ink bottom centered "USGA Amateur Champion 1933 - George Dunlap Jr." 23 1/2" x 28"
