The only 1932 US Open program single-signed by champion Gene Sarazen? Likely, as the seldom seen reader has only been offered a handful of times at auction in general. After completing the first two rounds, Gene Sarazen found himself 5 shots behind the leader. That didn't last long as he set numerous course records en route to his 2nd Major championship victory that month. a little over two weeks after claiming the Open Championship title at Prince's Golf Club. It was Gene's fifth of seven major titles in his career, second of the year backing up his gold medal performance at the Open Championship. The Squire's scrive is carefully placed on the title page 5 in strong blue fine-point marker just below the tournament title on the white of the page.
