Gassiat "Chantilly" Hickory Putter

The Gassiat, originally called the 'Chantilly' putter, was named for Jean Gassiat. Gassiat was a professional at the Chantilly golf course who won the French Open in 1912, beating Harry Vardon by a single stroke. There were other names associated with this putter as well, such a "grand piano" because of it's large rectangular head. A truly superb putter that displays very well and is in excellent condition.

Stamped 'Jean Gassiat' and Reg No 027782

Face measures 4" x 1 1/8" while the top of the head is 2 1/2" x 4". 35" in length.
