Gary Player Signed 1959 Muirfield Major Championship Series Wine 2003 Vintage
A 750ml bottle of red wine from the Gary Player Major Championship Series, specifically commemorating Player's first major title at the 1959 Open Championship at Muirfield. Produced and bottled by Quoin Rock in the Western Cape region of South Africa, this 2003 vintage blend consists of 38 percent Merlot, 31 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 23 percent Pinotage, and 8 percent Shiraz. The front label features a photograph of a young Gary Player holding the Claret Jug, overlaid with gold-toned graphic scoring data. The label bears a hand-signed autograph in gold-tone marker by Gary Player. The back label provides a historical narrative of the 1959 victory. The bottle is finished with a black foil capsule embossed with the Gary Player Knight logo on the top. JSA auction house LOA comes lot.
