Francis Ouimet Signed 1932 'A Game Of Golf' Ltd Ed #390/550 Book w/Slip Cover

Francis Ouimet is known as the "father of amateur golf" in the United States. Ouimet won the historic 1913 U.S. Open at Brookline over Vardon and Ray, as well as the U.S. Amateur Championship in 1914 and 1931. Here we have Ouimet's signature inside this 1932 limited edition #390/550 'A Game of Golf' book with its original slipcase included. Francis Ouimet left his classic signature inside the book in black fountain pen. Please note that the condition of the signature is excellent, and the book cover and highly coveted slipcase exhibit only minor wear, which you can see in the provided photos. A 1940 owner of this book left an inscription inside and another owner left a no ink stamp on the bottom of the Ouimet signature page. This book is one of the most highly regarded collectible golf books from the 20th century! James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
