Francis Ouimet Signed 1932 Ltd Ed 'A Game Of Golf' 360/550 in Original Slipcase w/Original Wrapper

The "Father of Amateur Golf" and winner of the 1913 US Open at Country Club, Brookline's own Francis Ouimet penned his name in this prized publication limited edition 360/550 copy of 'A Game of Golf.' This was performed with his chosen writing implement in 1932, the year of printing by the local Riverside Press Company in the nearby Cambridge, Massachusetts. Creating one of the most storied victories in golf history, Ouimet was victorious at his home course of The Country Club as Brookline. Adding to the lore was Ouimet's chosen partner in crime, famously employing 10-year old caddy Eddie Lowery, with the image of the pair walking with the bag that day is looked back on when remembering that day. Said image can be found opposite the title page in this deluxe slipcase outfitted book. This green hardcover book is in excellent condition, preserved in the original but elusive red slipcase. The original red slip case which rarely accompanies this Limited Ed. book take this piece to another level. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
