WINNER OF METROPOLITAN OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT Tommy Armour driving off the 17th tee in teh final round of the Metropolitan Open Golf Championship tournament played at the Shackmaxon Club at Westfield New Jersey, July 20. Armour won the tournament with a total of 278, 10 under par, for the 72 holes.
Running Wild Tommy Armour, Washington professional, gave California golf fans something to talk about Saturday when he took a seven-stroke lead in the Los Angeles open after shooting miraculous golf. Armour had a 67 Saturday, four strokes under par, and a 68 Friday, Giving him a total of 135 for the first 36 holes. The final 36 holes will be played Sunday. Here is Tommy's latest studio picture.
