F. Fairlie Patent Anti-Shank Iron
Amateur Frank Fairlie patented his anti-shank design in 1892. Employing that is this vintage F. Fairlies anti-shank iron with an oval shaped head. The stamps on the head are incomplete as depicted in the accompanying lot photos. Face of the rounded head is smooth, with no groves or patterns. There is overall wear on this offset iron that is sure to stick out from the other hickory clubs in your collection.
