A collection of sterling silver souvenir spoons featuring various golf-themed decorative motifs. The group includes spoons with finials depicting golfers in mid-swing, crossed clubs, and golf bags. Specific club associations include a circular medallion for the Kodaikanal Golf Club and a shield featuring crossed clubs with the letters RGC. One spoon features a golfer within a scrollwork frame dated 1922 with a cartouche engraved GSC. Another spoon features a golfer in relief within the bowl. Reverse markings on one spoon include the text MADE IN ENGLAND and the maker mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co. Ltd., accompanied by Birmingham sterling silver hallmarks including a lion passant and anchor. A second spoon bears the maker mark B and S with similar Birmingham sterling hallmarks. Other spoons in the collection feature various maker marks and hallmarks.
The items exhibit surface tarnishing and light wear consistent with age and handling.
