Tiger Woods had his pick of colleges to attend in 1994, landing on sunny California and Stanford University. Woods majored in Economics with his golf scholarship and was the only golfer to win the US Amateur three consecutive times - 1994, 1995, and 1996. This lot offers a 1995 first pump magazine page with a time-period signature from the then collegiate star Tiger Woods donning his team uniform, in black marker celebrating his incredible USGA streak of championship wins from 1991-1995. That was with another US Amateur still coming the next year at Pumpkin Ridge. Of course Woods' career only took off more after his time at Stanford, yet many remember his time there including his 1996 NCAA Championship in addition to his US Amateur success. This early patented celebration image is personalized 'To Jim' and presents well on this page carefully removed from the 1995 magazine.
