Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Pitcher
The Doulton family started making pipes and sanitary fittings in 1815, later enlisting local artists to design tableware and fine collectibles. Doulton was granted the Royal Warrant in 1901, and continues to make fine glassware to this day, now a part of the Waterford Wedgwood family. Here is a stunning lambeth stoneware pitcher with golfers around it in shallow relief, offset by the brown background and intricate leaflike designs that serpentine from around the top of the handle to the top of this pitcher rim lambeth. This showcase piece is accented by a dark brown ring around the bottom. This pottery piece surely deserves inclusion into the finest of golf collections. 7 1/2" tall
