contained in this lot is a Denny Shute Signed Handwritten Letter for Autograph Request from 8/8/65. Kindly in elegant blue ballpoint pen the 1933 Open Champion and back-to-back PGA Championship winner in 1936 and 1937 Densmore, Denny, Shute wrote back to a fan that was hoping to add his signature to their collection. Denny concludes the letter with a strong signature and a quick sentence relating himself to his fan "My hobby is postage stamps." 4" x 6." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
