Defending Champ Jack Nicklaus & Charles Coody Signed 1997 The Tradition Official Scorecard PSA/DNA #S00080
Jack Nicklaus was attempting to go back-to-back-to-back at the 1997 Tradition, a senior major championship. The 1996 Tradition would prove to be Nicklaus' 8th and final senior major championship - half of those at The Tradition tournament. Nicklaus carried this during the final round in which he signed and scored for a man who once slipped the green jacket over Jack's shoulders, 1971 Masters champion Charles Coody. Each signing in pencil on the bottom, Coody tallied a 1-under 71 that final day. PSA/DNA reviewed this official scorecard and their sticker of authenticity is found on the verso #S00080.
