Vanity fair would routinely publish illustrations in their magazine that covered various topics in the 1890’s. Among these topics drawn and depicted were men and women of influence in golf. The nine chosen subjects in this lot include: John Ball, Harold Hilton, Samuel Mure Fergusson, Robert Maxwell, Lloyd George, Horace Hutchinson, H. Mullaby-Deeley, James Braid, and JH Taylor. These are matted with their names written below and wrapped in plastic, then stored and displayed in a custom book casing. 22 1/2 x 16 x 4"
