Collection of Nineteen PGA Club Professional Championship Contestant Money Clips 1969-1988
This collection consists of nineteen framed money clips from the PGA Club Professional Championship, dating from 1969 to 1988. The set represents a near-consecutive 20-year run, with only the year 1974 missing. These commemorative items were provided as gifts to contestants participating in these national tournaments. Each clip features a circular or rectangular emblem with colored enamel accents and various inscriptions including PGA, Club Professional Championship, and specific tournament years. Several clips designate the host location, such as Pinehurst Country Club (1972), Callaway Gardens (1975-1979), PGA National Golf Club (1980-1982), and La Quinta/Mission Hills (1983). Corporate sponsorship marks are present on many pieces, including The Lee Company, Michelob, Ram, Titleist, Sunrise Company, and Landmark. The 1969 and 1970 clips are marked Contestant at the top of the emblem, while the 1987 and 1988 versions feature this label at the bottom. The items are mounted on a white backer board and housed within a gold-tone metal frame behind glass.

3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of initial auction close will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and all lots will begin closing with their own separate 30-minute countdown clock. Each lot will get its own 30 minute clock, which will extend by 30 minutes any time that lot receives a bid during extended bidding.
