Collection of 20 Vintage Golf Tournament Caddy and Spectator Badges 1950s-1970s
A collection of 20 vintage golf tournament badges comprised of caddy and spectator credentials dating from 1957 through 1979. The assortment includes round metal pin-back buttons and die-cut plastic badges from various PGA Tour events and private clubs. Notable pieces include the 31st L.A. Open (1957), 42nd L.A. Open (1968), and the 1973 Glen Campbell Los Angeles Open held at Riviera Country Club. The group features multiple badges from the Kaiser International Open in Napa, California, dated 1969, 1971, and 1975. Other identified tournaments include the 1960 Carling Open at Fircrest Golf Club, the 1965 Oklahoma City Open at Quail Creek, the 1969 Conquistadores Tucson Open, the 16th Bob Hope Desert Classic (1975), the 1973 Sahara Invitational Del Webb Pro-Am, and the Westchester Classic (1973 and 1979). Club-specific items include a Charlotte Country Club Class A Caddy Club badge and a Carmel C.C. A Caddy badge. Additional pieces represent the 500 Festival Open, the 1977 Doral Eastern Open, and the 1979 IVB Golf Classic. Several plastic badges are embossed on the reverse. Two Lucky International metal caddy pins numbered 125 and 26 are also included.
