Claude Harmon, Picard & 18 Masters Champs Signed ANGC Clubhouse Print JSA ALOA
This commemorative art print depicts the clubhouse at the Augusta National Golf Club in a watercolor style. A nice work in itself, but the real sizzle to this lot is the late 1980's compilation of Masters champs penned autographs including seldom seen on large format pieces Henry Picard (D-1997) and Claude Harmon (D-1989). The print, with plenty of space and potential to bring it easily over 40 champs, now features 20 individual signatures with Bernhard Langer in 1985 being the most recent first-time winner at the Masters. The identified signatures include Harmon, Doug Ford, Bob Goalby, Gene Sarazen, Gay Brewer, Billy Casper, Fuzzy Zoeller, Ray Floyd, Byron Nelson, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Charles Coody, Henry Picard, Bernhard Langer, Craig Stadler, Tommy Aaron, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Watson, and Seve Ballesteros. With 11 of those 20 signers being deceased champions. The lower left corner features the Masters tournament logo, and the ink signature of artist.
